From welcoming familiar faces to working on cars and building his own future, our team member shares what makes his journey at Hedonism II so meaningful.
From Contract Worker to Valued Team Member
My journey at Hedonism II began in 2018 when I joined the team as a contract worker. I was immediately drawn to the resort’s vibrant energy and the opportunity to grow within a world-class hospitality environment. Over the years, Hedonism II has become much more than a workplace for me. It has been a place where I have grown, learned, and developed both professionally and personally. One of the things I enjoy most about my job is meeting the diverse guests who come from all over the world to experience Hedonism II. I also appreciate the amazing team I work with every day. My colleagues have helped shape who I am and have played a major role in helping me become better at what I do.
Service with a Purpose
For me, excellent service is simple: make sure the guest feels their money was well spent and leaves completely happy.
When our guests have a great experience, they are more likely to return and recommend the resort to others. That creates good business for Hedonism II, and when the resort does well, it also helps provide financial stability and security for the staff.
That is one of my biggest motivations. Having this job allows me to take care of my responsibilities, structure my life, and work toward my financial goals and future.
Some of my favorite moments are when familiar guests return to the resort. There is something special about seeing a returning guest and greeting them with a high-five or fist bump because, by then, you know there is a genuine connection.
Those moments remind me that hospitality is about more than simply taking an order or serving a meal. It is about creating memories and relationships that bring people back.
I believe a great waiter should always double- and triple-check on guests. You never know when someone might need something extra, and being attentive can make all the difference.
I also believe in keeping an open mind. Constructive feedback is important because there is always more than one perspective to a situation. None of us is perfect, and there is always an opportunity to learn something new and improve.
Working at Hedonism II has taught me a great deal about self-control and how to work smoothly with people who have different personalities and perspectives. Those lessons have made me a better team member and a better person.
Life Beyond the Resort
When I’m not at work, you can usually find me doing something connected to my passion for cars and motorbikes. I enjoy working on my own vehicle and getting involved in mechanical projects. I also enjoy listening to music, watching movies, and, most importantly, spending quality time with my family.
Being a waiter at Hedonism II has truly been a blessing, and I am grateful for the experiences, lessons, and opportunities that have come with it.
A Message to the Team
My advice to anyone looking to grow is to find something you are passionate about, focus on getting better every day, and always strive to excel. There is always room to grow because nobody is perfect. Be willing to learn, listen to feedback, and keep pushing yourself to become better.
Looking Ahead
My immediate goal is to continue giving my absolute best at Hedonism II while completing the construction of my house. And eventually, I plan to combine my love for cars and mechanics with my entrepreneurial spirit by launching my very own automotive business.
For now, I’m enjoying the journey, serving our guests with pride, supporting my team, and working every day toward the future I envision for myself.
The journey started at Hedonism II – but there’s still plenty of road ahead.
