Meet Toussaint James, our talented Digital Media Manager, whose calm demeanor, sharp eye and unstoppable creativity help bring the magic of Hedonism II to the world. Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Toussaint brings a thoughtful blend of design sense and brand awareness to everything he touches – from campaign development to content production and guest-facing digital experiences.
Before entering the world of marketing, Toussaint studied architecture, a background that shaped his love of design, aesthetics, and detail. But it was his passion for photography, videography and visual storytelling that ultimately led him to Appleton Estate and, eventually, to Hedo. Since joining the team in May 2022, Toussaint has become an essential member of the Marketing crew, helping shape everything from creative strategy and content planning to visual identity and cross-channel execution.
Outside of work, Toussaint is a lover of travel, fast cars, food, fashion, and animals. With a background in table tennis and football from his college years, today he’s a big fan of Formula 1, having attended races in Barcelona and Miami. His favorite quote, “Slow motion is better than no motion,” reflects his steady, thoughtful approach, a quality the team deeply values. And when it comes to music? His favorite artist is Kanye West (even through all the controversy).
These days, he’s made a home for himself on the beach in Negril, where he’s found great friends and a creative environment that keeps him energized and most recently, rediscovering his love of reading.
Toussaint is driven by the desire to create a great life for himself and his family and he pours that energy into making Hedo shine every day. Whether he’s helping craft a campaign, building brand assets, or ensuring our digital touchpoints reflect the heart of Hedo, Toussaint brings clarity, consistency, and a fresh perspective to everything we do.
