While the storm has passed, the hard work of recovery is only just beginning and Hedonism II is committed to being part of that effort every step of the way. Many homes in our surrounding parishes were destroyed or severely damaged, access to power and clean water remains limited, and families are now faced with the immense task of rebuilding their lives.
We’re grateful and relieved to report that we’ve made contact with all of our team members. But for many of them, and for countless members of our community, the situation is still incredibly difficult. That’s why, in addition to the support we’re offering our staff, we’ve been extending relief efforts into the surrounding neighborhoods, delivering food, box lunches, water, charging stations, and Wi-Fi to help families communicate with loved ones and start rebuilding.
“Going on the road has been truly heartbreaking,” shares Diana Field, Groups & Events Supervisor at Hedonism II, who has been out delivering aid to affected areas. “I’ve visited a few areas, and while they really appreciate the food, from what I’ve observed, they are now in need of building supplies and clothing.”
Our teams are continuing to assemble care packages, and we are working closely with local leaders to understand how we can best serve the evolving needs of the community.
